I (22M) am moving to Pittsburgh soon (Looking for a place in and around Shadyside, Lawrenceville, etc) and am hoping to joint a gym. The only things I really care about are weights and stretching areas, maybe even a sauna if we wanna get fancy. I don’t need . So where can I find a relatively simple gym within about 20 mins of those neighborhoods? Thanks!

PS: I’m not super well-versed with the names of certain areas, but keeping it within the little triangle area in between the Allegheny and the Monongahela or just south of the downtown area would be nice.

100% agreed. Ryan and Dana (the owners) are so kind, the equipment is great, and the people who go are so friendly. I’ve learned a lot about fitness from conversation with people at the gym at the same time as me, and I’ve recommended Celli’s to a bunch of friends and everyone loves it. 11/10 great local gym

Celli's is incredible and you'd be hard pressed to find a better trainer in town than Ryan. Plus it's actually air-conditioned unlike Exercise Warehouse!

Fitness Factory in/near Shadyside has a ton of equipment for bodybuilding—a good gym if you don’t find the aesthetic strange

Exercise warehouse. Weights downstairs and stretching and punching bags upstairs.

Is it a place where they’re a bunch of meatheads and look at you bad if you do an exercise wrong?
