In general you will not see 1Gbps per connection on wireless. Yes in theory it can be done but in the real world with typical consumer equipment in a home, it doesn’t happen. If you get 500+ Mbps per device your doing good. If you really want high speed you need to run a cable.

I run cables for tv and games consoles and stuff although my complaint is more about not as good experience before fiber upgrade. And no I never get 500. Plus all the reliability issues. I think there is some problem in the connection. I am going to contact Armstrong.
