I spent a lot of time in New Mexico as a kid, and I always loved getting a hot sopapilla with some honey after dinner at a restaurant. Help me find this comfort food from my youth.

Lol my wife and I were just talking about sopapillas last night. I've really been craving one lately; I'm from Texas and still haven't found one here, although I haven't looked all that hard either.

You’re two years late for Mesa. An unfortunately now closed kiosk in Schenley Plaza. I would like to find a sopapilla as well.

At home - I had them growing up and barely have even seen them on menus (maybe twice) over the course of 20+ years here.

I’ve had some at Emiliano’s, but they aren’t as good as the ones I remember growing up in southwest Colorado.
