Love beer but lately alcohol hasn’t been agreeing with me. Also could potentially go for beers with low ABV (<4%). My favorite breweries (Moniker, Long Live) don’t seem to have anything that fits the bill so I’m looking to see what else is out there!

if you’re trying to stay in the neighborhood, bayberry has a few NAs available usually. not always on draft but definitely in cans. within the city there aren’t any places brewing their own NA though. if you’re able to get outside the city, Origin Beer Project specializes in low abv brews so if you want to go that route they’re the best.

This isn't a brewery or taproom, but the Athletic Brewing NA beers are actually pretty good. They sell them at a lot of stores now – I've seen them at Whole Foods and I think even Shaw's. Almost every liquor store carries them. They make different types, too (sours, wheat beers, IPAs, etc).

It’s not in providence. But shaidzon brewery in Kingston near URI has three different NA beers on the menu.

Not local but the best NA beer I've found is Clausthaler Dry Hopped. It was the only one that tasted like real beer. There might be better ones now but I've no idea. Gave up drinking (real and NA) 3 years ago.

I saw a full cooler section full of NA beers at Savory Grape in East Greenwich. Don’t specifically remember RI beers in there, but definitely two roads and other CT crafts. Great to see more craft breweries breaking into the space.

Apponaug Brewing Co. in Warwick. They’ll make mocktails, and they have a solid food menu. My wife and go there often—I don’t drink much and she doesn’t drink at all. Really fun spot.

I know for certain that Proclamation and Sons of Liberty have zero options for non-alcoholic beverages, so you can avoid those.

Apponaug has NA beers and NA “hop water” which was really good

There aren’t any breweries in RI that make nonalcoholic beers so far as I know. From what I understand they’re quite hard to make.

Origin Beer Project is likely you’re best bet for low ABV beers. Looks like they have 2 available right now at 4.0% or less.

As others have mentioned, more and more bars are carrying good NA beers now. I’ve tried a ton of them, and Athletic is my favorite. They’re definitely #1 for NA IPAs for me. If you’re into Guinness, their 0 beer is very close to the original.
