I knoww the title is everywhere, but I’ve grown up in Rhode Island, and haven’t explored much in my 20 years of living here. Nothing really peaks my interest because Rhode Island- to me at least-has always came off really nautical or what ever (hopefully you know what I mean) I want to find like minded weird people with spooky interests and also hopefully dip my toes in the music scene (preferably rock, metal, punk, anything l o u d ), does anyone have any suggestions? This could be places or even groups on Facebook or Reddit (or another social media platform I don’t know about)

I saw some people talking about a love craft shop that hosted events, I checked their site and didn’t look like they had anything going on anytime soon, I think I came across another post for a go fund me for this particular shop. Also something about a toad stool, lol idk, it seems like that’s what I’m looking for.

I just want to do something fun with friends besides idk going to the mall or out to eat. I need to live interestingly lol

For music at least theres a few options. I would def check out Dusk. They basically always have punk and the full spectrum of metal shows going on. AS220 and Askew also regularly have local punk acts and performance oddities and are especially popular with the queer community.

Can I get in if I’m under 21 to these places? I mean I’m turning 21 this summer but I’d love to check them out sooner rather than later

Dusk is variable based on the event so you'd have to check it by the event itself but they do have 18+ and 21+ events.

Askew and AS220 are generally any age, sometimes (kinda rare) 18+ based on the event, so you're fine.

If you’re looking for something fun with friends that isn’t the mall or going out to eat, RI has a few excellent mystery rooms/escape rooms. The Riddle Room in Warwick or East Greenwich. Very detailed and creative! Lock and Clue in Pawtucket is also so much fun! “The Cellar” room at Lock and Clue is horror themed!
