The baked ziti at Napolitanos used to be absolutely delectable but I tried it again recently and it was nowhere near as good as I remembered. Do y’all have any recs for delicious and consistent baked ziti?

Not the answer you're looking for, but I would leave the fancy pasta dishes to our many great Italian restaurants and get really good at making baked ziti at home. It's not too complicated.

True this.spicy Italian sausage, green/red peppers onion peppers, garlic, cut spinach, saute, Italian herbs Add light cream and parmesan cheese. Mix with cooked ziti, sprinkle motz on top. Bake in over for 25 minutes. Fuckin done. Easy, cheap. Put leftovers in the fridge. Nuke some in the morning for breakfast. Maybe give some to your neighbor to break the ice. Feed some to the dogs. Bring into work to impress your work friends and show them that you might be a decent spouse one day so they can maybe recommend you for a date. Which may lead to having kids. Then this baked ziti thing you learned from Reddit might come in handy. Cook baked ziti, it may open new doors

Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather just order from a place that has been doing this for many years and has perfected it. Simple and quick.

I don't want to scour the internet for recipes, go to the grocery store and buy a whole bunch of ingredients (typically in portion sizes that are way more than you'll ever need), come home and start experimenting and hoping it comes out ok. And regardless of the outcome, I'll either be eating it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner the next day...or throwing it away. Who wants to eat the same thing for days. Waste of time and money.

Al Forno (of course) but also Trattoria Zooma has some truly incredible pasta dishes :)

I wish I had an award you give you for this response. This is the only correct answer.
