What is your favorite/best place for some cupcakes in the city?

My fiancés birthday is this week and she wants cupcakes instead of a cake.

Thanks!

Duck and bunny made very good cupcakes but I am not sure they're reopened yet or what their situation is.

They destroyed a historic building in a sneaky way on Easter Sunday without notification I will never support them or their other business Ogie’s Trailer Park

Yeah, I saw that, that building was something that gave the area its vibe. Very sad.

It’s on the same block as buildings with plastic siding and 1970s concrete buildings. Not sure that one building made an entire street. Their building was a disaster in complete disarray. Sure, it would have been nice to keep but everyone wants to “save historic buildings” but no one wants to pay for it.

Counterpoint it's still a hole in the ground so maybe a better developer and plan was in order.

Maybe buy a couple items from a bunch of these places and make it a “Best of RI” cupcake box. Then she can decide on her favorite.

That is so fun. We do it with zeppoles.

Clover makes incredible stuff, but I’m not sure they always have cupcakes.

That’s actually a super good idea.

Thanks!

Celebrated in Warwick - they are vegan but truly the best cupcakes I've had in RI

My family really likes Wildflour in Pawtucket. They’re vegan and taste amazing!

Third for Wildflour! I’m not vegan/GF & these are incredible—super moist & a nice rotation of flavors. Lemon lavender, carrot cake, & PB flavors are some faves.

Not sin bakery. I went there to taste cupcakes for my wedding and they tasted like they were three days old made with sewer water.

LaSalle doesn't get enough love because of the location, but it's fantastic

And both locations are worth the parking situation, although Admiral does have a small back lot.

Silver spoon bakery in East Greenwich has some tasty cupcakes. Edit: my b I thought this was the ri and not the Providence subreddit. Everyone else's suggestions are good

Sugar Mama's Sweets and Treats next to Warwick Mall is to die for. Top rated by the Knot Magazine for MANY years as well.
