Ladies in PVD, where do you go to get waxed that isn’t European wax center? Long story short, I used to work there and refuse to get waxed there as a client. I’m going on vacation next week and need to get waxed. What places do you recommend? It doesn’t have to be in Providence, I don’t mind driving.

The Wax Witch- technically in Pawtucket but she does a very good job. Can be a little hard to get an appointment because it’s a popular place but for good reason.

My aesthetician is Talia. Her business is called Talia’s Skin Revival. I go to her for facials, but she also does waxing. She is on Waterman Street on the east side. You need to make an appointment.

Evolvé apothecary is my spot. I’ve heard wonderful things about the wax witch but she is really hard to get an appointment with.

I go to Xiomara but she is on maternity leave for a bit so now I see Brianna until Xiomara is back.

Honestly I was fired for performance. I’d rather not go there anymore. And I definitely don’t want to go to any location in RI because they’re all under the same management.

I may be feeling bitter about being fired but I can honestly say that at my location (can’t speak for the others) took cleanliness very seriously.

Evolve Apothecary. The Wax Witch isn’t currently taking new clients but worth keeping an eye on her instagram in case she does open her books in the future. However as others have said it’s still hard to get spots on her calendar even once you are a client, so Evolve is a great option with lots of availability.
