Many times I feel like news outlets report on things like violence, corruption, and overall negativity. What are some things you'd like to see more headlines about in our community?

Old fashioned investigative journalism. The kind that takes weeks or months. Stories that politicians and the donor class does not want us to see.
For instance, I would love a proper expose of how a boutique hotel on Westminster Street owned by a long-ago mayor can grab 100 feet of sidewalk and turn it into private parking while any other changes to streets face years of meetings, studies and committees.

These days it seems like I only find out about things after they've already happened.
The useless ad rag that is Providence Monthly only shows up sometime during the last 2 weeks of each month, so I get to flip through it and read about all the "upcoming" events that ended a week and a half ago.
