I'm going to visit Providence this Friday for vacation. My plan is to park at the Arcade Garage when I get in town. Then I'll drive to my hotel in East Providence. And then drive to the Roger Williams Zoo for the Jackolantern display. I was hoping to visit a resturant in town after that, but I'm not sure if there's any 24 hour lots I could park at.

The providence place mall is the easiest for parking without having to worry about what time to get back.

There’s an open surface lot at 122 fountain street. $32 overnight but it gives you in and out privileges until 12pm the next day

$20 overnight at new garage near Garrahy courthouse. Very close to Arcade. My new goto.

Arcade garage closes overnight (for all but passholders), so annoying.

Heads up, East Providence to Roger Williams Zoo at 5:30 pm on a Friday will take more than a few minutes. Traffic at that time of day heading in that direction can be heavy. Allow more time than you'll think you need. There are 24-hour lots in Providence but they typically don't allow in and out privleges.

waze is accurate for traffic around here, try and get there 15 minutes before as the parking situation for the JOLS is crazy and traffic getting in is long. You can get in any time between 545 and 7 though.

You can probably find street parking near the arcade if your there just for a little while. While you’re there rooftop at providence G is nearby, G Pub (not sure if your out getting drinks, etc. ) If you want to take a little walk and people watch I think there is roller disco outside across the street from the Graduate (formerly Biltmore, you’ll see the sign) There’s a beer garden there too. They used to have a comedian on Friday’s, not sure if that’s still going on this late in the season.

If you walk in the opposite down the river the pedestrian bridge is pretty.
