You can download apps (ie Marine Traffic) that show the boats anywhere at anytime. You can say origin/destination/country/name of boat, etc.

Right now there’s 2 cargo ships from Marshall Islands in Port of PVD. You can Google the names to figure out specifically what it could be (once there was a ship that transports Volkswagens from Europe). The red ship isn’t currently here.

The ones off bold point usually unload diesel for the Sprague terminal in East providence.

The ones farther down off riverside do the exxron terminal in riverside.

On the pvd side farther north is either scrap, salt and/or natural gas. Farther down there's a 'cargo port where they ship cars and cargo to Africa and there's the gasoline terminal and a propane terminal

I love seeing a ship at port from India Point and then looking up which one it is and where it's been.

This is nice to know, I was always curious about the shipping situation in the area
