Great shot. I wish one of the most iconic buildings in Providence wasn’t a fossil fuel burning power plant.

Thanks a lot! Either ways, Providence has loads of iconic buildings. This just looks good from the Pedestrian bridge

Thank you so much! I’m glad you liked it.
Fun fact, I left my place to go there to capture the skyline at sunset. But I was a bit too late. Didn’t even take my tripod. So I looked to the other side to see this beautiful vision. I captured this at a long exposure of few seconds, by using the pedestrian bridge sides as my tripod. I just loved the play of colors in the reflection and on the bridge and buildings

I hear you, but we're in good company. This has always struck me as iconic of Providence in the same way the Battersea power plant is of London. It would be cool to see our power plant repurposed someday like London's is now, but I'd miss it if it were gone.

So I went with an f/stop of 7.1, with a 15 sec exposure, at 43 mm, with an ISO of 125! So the narrow aperture and low ISO allowed me to get a long exposure without getting too much of the city light in. Also I edited the image in lightroom and adjusted a few, especially reducing highlights and increasing the contrast
