I’ve honestly never seen it worse than here in Providence. I don’t know what causes the cavalier but I get very angry when this happens.

It makes me so nervous that the emergency vehicle is going to hit someone (terrified when it’s a fire truck), or not make it to the destination in time. I work downtown and witness it at least twice a week

What about low beams that are as bright as high beams? Some of these LED headlights should be illegal!

My car passes inspection with them every 2 years, high beam and low. The problem is people looking for the cheapest, brightest bulbs possible, doing no research about optimal design for headlight style(reflector vs projector) and then not properly orienting the diodes or aiming the headlight properly. Spend a little extra money for a more well designed kit and they end up with no more glare than a luxury model car factory headlights, like mercedes, bmw, etc...

You know what irks me more than when people think that any given part of the internet is their own personal blog? When other people validate them with upvotes.

Both sides? You mean like the left and right lane? If so, that's exactly what NOT to do. In the USA we "move to the right for sirens and lights" or move over at least 1 lane over if stopped. If you cannot move over, slow down to 10 less than the speed limit.

If everyone moves to the right, that makes space for the emergency vehicle to pass on the left or drive in the on coming lane if needed. This is how we are trained.

Source: 15+ years of people not moving over for me.

As noted many times before I just think in terms of driving something broke during the pandemic. People have come back far worse than they were going in. And as the reputation famously goes, it wasn't a high bar to begin with.

It’s a problem I’ve noticed getting worse and worse lately. Thursday I was on Bald Hill Road near Kent Hospital. Not only would people not move out of the way, a few people continued moving into the turning lane and actively blocked the ambulance. It ended up having to come to a complete stop and then go into oncoming traffic. It’s shockingly rude.
