Rhode Islanders are almost afraid of any drive longer than 20 minutes. You can save a lot of money on rent and cost of living, if you don’t mind a commute. Warwick, East Greenwich, Coventry, all have lovely spots.

I moved here from the Midwest and people were and still are SHOCKED that I commute 45 minutes each way.
