Can anyone recommend a bakery for fresh loaves of bread? I’d prefer one in North Providence or Pawtucket.

Olive loaf - -
and lot's more -
My favorite is Buono’s on Hartford Ave
There are many RI bakeries that make amazing Italian bread but Buono's is the best imo. If you're in the east bay, Scialo's in Riverside makes an excellent Sicilian loaf as well.
Laselle Bakery on Smith St. is one of my favorites!
Thanks- this location works really well for me.
They also have a location on Admiral St. I prefer that one, personally.
I like the Sicilian bread. You can get it sliced or as is.
It a class D substance. May induce white flour induced blood sugar spike blackouts in large quantities. I could eat the whole loaf.
Borelli's on Charles st right by the Providence/North Providence line.
I’ve driven by this one- I will definitely try it
Bread is really good and the people that run it are great people also. I also love their party pizza.
Palmieri’s, DePetrillo’s, the original Italian bakery, buonos, LaSalle. Pick literally any of these and you can’t go wrong
Silver star on ives st.
Seconded, Silver Star is my favorite place in town!
Scialos bros on federal hill. My grandfather is right from Italy and always made his own bread and that’s the only place he would buy from

Just a heads up, if you are planning on grabbing bread for dinner next week, make sure you order it.
How far in advance do you recommend ordering? Can I do it same day?
No, that's why I'm telling you you need to order soon. A lot of bakeries are closed on Mondays so I would think they cut off on Tuesday. In other words order it tomorrow or Sunday.
DeLuise Bakery, great donuts!
