Stopped attempted break in at my apartment building. (Near Cranston St. Armory)

I live on Willow Street and came home to find two guys in blue windbreakers fiddling around at my back door. By the time I parked and came back, they bolted. Went around the block, and they were nowhere to be found.

Be aware and keep your doors and windows locked.

I checked with the realtor on this house and the property management company didn't send anyone here today.

Can I ask what side of Willow? The side closer to the park? Or the highway? (since Messer cuts through)

I used to live around the armory. My car and my friends cars were broken into pretty regularly. Someone broke the lock to the shed attached to the house I was living at and stole a snow blower. I was sitting on my stoop at night when a guy walked passed, then 2 other guys came up behind him and mugged him.

Be vigilant. Get cameras if it makes you feel more secure. Be mindful of your surroundings.

My moms car got stolen on willow st. Found it days later chopped.

Yup…. My son’s place on Willow St was broken into in the middle of the nice while he was sleeping. This was a few years ago though…
