Hi I'm looking for fun indoor date spots for the winter. My boyfriend is under 21 so can't go to bars yet. We really like going to R1 for axe throwing but we would love some more cost effective options

+10000 for glass blowing!!!
Also really enjoyed the RISD art museum when I visited (free on Sundays, yup!). But the glass blowing glass blew my mind. Highly recommend.
Ice skating in Providence.
Wednesday nights at the park theater there’s an open mic night that is for all ages.
The ice rink will hopefully be fully open this Monday as well. They have bumper cars certain days, and you can also sign up for ice skating lessons.
I walk past KP every day and yesterday I saw the rink was open so skating season is here!
Go see the lights at La Salette or Roger Williams Park and then go get something warm to drink.
PPAC and The Vets are both worth looking into for their upcoming events.
Edit: if either of you has a student ID you can go to the PPAC 2 hours before a show and get 50% off tickets :)
I have tickets for the nutcracker at the vets to go with my friend but I didn't know about the student ID! My bf isn't a big play person but I can go with college friends!
In Newport the Harbor Island resort has an ice skating rink. It has a beautiful view of the Newport bridge.
Roller skating at United Skates in East Providence! They have 18+ themed skate nights after 10 almost every weekend it seems
Check out AS220 for workshops. They'll sometimes post events like drink and ink ( screen printing ) or maybe a dance lesson?!

Dave & Buster's
Escape rooms are pretty fun and there are a ton around Providence
I like the Farmers Markets Saturdays and The Providence Flea Sundays (and sometimes Fri eves) at Farm Fresh RI. In fact, my SO and I had our first date there.
There are places to eat and drink nearby. Pizza, coffee, and industrious spirits.
Also, check out what's going on at Waterfire Arts Center, a relatively short walk (or drive) away. Most exhibits are free, but you can help support them by donations or buying stuff in the gift shop.
Friday and Saturday nights at North Bowl lanes they have Rock n bowl 7:30-11:30. It's really expensive but if you double date it's not as expensive per person.
