Ugh, the English Cellar used to have a bunch of board games but they’ve been closed for years now. It was so fun! Granted, I absolutely love Heng Thai which replaced it.

Basically any Irish pub is built to cater to groups of people lingering at their tables for an entire night. That's kind of the whole point of a pub. Just make sure you're giving them some decent business, and not sipping a single drink over the course of 6 hours.
Personally, I go to Murphys Law in Pawtucket to play games a lot.
Open until 1am every day, cheap drinks and decent food.
Can get loud on Friday & Saturday nights, but you can still get a booth in the back that's isolated from the party crowd.

Weeknights at Lucky Enough... Dark but good lighting on the tables, pretty laid back. Irish pub vibe for sure
