Hi! Extremely strange request but does anyone know of any grocery stores around Providence/Southern Mass that sells canned bread? My dad and aunt were reminiscing about it recently so I thought it would be a fun little gift for Christmas. Thank you!

Usually find it near baked beans in most places like stop and shop or shaws.

Brown bread is almost always near the baked beans. they go fantastic together!!

goes great for breakfast too w eggs.

open the cans at both ends, slide the bread out. we slice in half the long way, lay flat then slice like 3/8"-1/2" thick and butter and brown /toast in a pan like you would a muffin. friggin delicious!

You mean brown bread. Canned. We used to heat it up with hot dogs and beans on Saturday night. Yummy. Stop & Shop or Market Basket has it.
