Looking for Orthopedic doctor that specializes in Running

Title says it all. Currently looking for an orthopedic doctor in PVD or the rest of the greater PVD area that ideally specializes in running.

I’ve been to Ortho RI but they really seem like a “churn out as many patients as possible” type of place, where I felt like the goal was to get me out of the room as soon as possible.

I think it depends on the doc. We’ve had nothing but great experiences at Ortho RI - who did you see?

I always recommend Dr Shalvoy. He’s actually a surgeon but he’s great.

Not in PVD but my husband and I both make the trek up to Boston Medical Center for our orthopedist, Dr. Nathan Cardoos. We are both life-long runners and we each had a few years where we just kept getting minor injuries (it felt like whack-a-mole..we would figure out one thing and another thing would pop up). He has been incredibly helpful in getting us both back on our feet (literally) and he has always taken the time to talk to us in the office, via their message portal, and on the phone when we've needed it.
