Is everyone going to have to re-register their electric and gas with Rhode Island Energy in order to avoid termination of services? I'm confused as to what's going on if anyone could help explain that would be great TIA

I think if you go online to your old national grid account, it will automatically take you to your account with RI energy? This is what I did. Even autopay details were transferred to my new account.

Better to just call them, I guess.

No everything has rolled over. You’ve been paying RI energy for the past few months. Unless you’ve gotten some communication from RI energy (which I have not) stating you need to do anything, you should be good

RI energy took over national grid the past 6 months I believe? My partner was calling them and they’re switching everything over to RI energy. I think it’s bc national grid is not handling it anymore? Not sure

National Grid sold the RI gas and electric utilities to PPL, which branded them RI Energy.
