Almost 200,000 people live in the city. Four notable acts of violence this weekend.

There are a bunch of shootings/stabbings that go unreported as well. Either way Providence is the least violent city I have ever lived in. Only time I saw some high levels of violence was during the 90's

It's disappointing and disturbing that you (and several others on here) go out of your way to try to normalize the violent crime in Providence.

Sure I'm not an expert on sexual assault, but I sure as hell know way more than you regarding violent crime in Providence. Seen it and lived in proximity of it for a very long time. And this is coming from the person who threw the 1st quip. Geez we ain't in Kansas anymore.

I used that as an example of crime which often goes unreported and is thus underreported + requires estimates to fill in the gap

All I'm saying is that there's been a shooting every weekend in 2023 and that's not great news, I hope that trend doesn't continue. Crime is clearly on the rise in PVD right now
