Hi everyone, first of all I would like to say the used names are all fake.

I'm Mark and I'm in a bit of a complicated situation with my girlfriend, Lisa. She has a friend, Anne, who is in a relationship with a guy named Dale. From the very beginning, I've had issues with Dale and how he behaves around my girlfriend. He would often stare at her body and text her for irrelevant reasons. I told Lisa that I didn't like him and asked her to block him and not reply to his texts, but things haven't improved much.

To make matters worse, Lisa often hangs out with Anne and Dale, excluding me from their activities. I've had many arguments with Lisa about this, but she always seems to side with Dale. She even calls him the "best man alive" in front of me, despite knowing that he's cheated on Anne multiple times.

Recently, Lisa promised that we would go to a nice place on the weekend, but she never followed through on that promise. I later found out that she went there with Anne and Dale instead. And when I asked her to block Dale, she promised to do so but was caught texting him the very next night while sitting right next to me.

To top it all off, Dale recently robbed his own shop to claim insurance money and had to flee abroad. When Lisa found out about this, she was incredibly upset and ruined our party that night.

I'm feeling really frustrated and hurt by Lisa's behavior towards me and her lack of respect for our relationship. She keeps insisting that she has nothing to do with Dale, but her actions tell a different story. I'm not sure what to do at this point, but I feel like our relationship is hanging by a thread because of this ongoing issue.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'll be the first to give this community's standard advice. Break up. Throw the whole woman away.

Sounds like your GF is in a throuple and you are the side piece. Not a healthy relationship where your boundaries are continuously violated.

Leave her. You should have done it long time ago. Why are you upset she is treating you like a doormat, when you do your best to convince it is indeed what you are.

Why would you stay in a relationship with someone if you are this unhappy?

Well on the bright side, it'll be harder for her to see him now that he's fled the country

Not a single line you wrote makes me think she respects you or your relationship. She’s mislead or lied to you about her actions with this guy. Going away without you is just horrid. What was her excuse?

I’m sure others will say the same. Probably time to give up on her. She doesn’t want to save the relationship.
