I am very happy with my relationship, but lately i’ve been finding myself wondering what life would be like if i were single or if i would have ended up with someone else. ( that ”someone” being a guy i liked before i met my boyfriend, we were such a good friends and we both had feelings for each other, i think. But nowadays we barely talk :( ) idk if i miss my friendship with him or if its something more. I would still like to emphasize the fact that i am in an extremely happy and healthy relationship with my boyfriend whom i have been together with for the last year. I love him so much but i can’t help but feel guilty. What is wrong with me?

You probably won’t want to hear this, but there’s nothing wrong with you. You’re at a point in your life where your world is expanding. You can be happy with one guy but still be interested in another.

You’re 18. Your personal growth brain centers are firing on full blast. Give yourself a break. If you want to venture out, it’s up to you. If not, wait for the feeling to pass.

Nothing wrong with you. Exploring your options is pretty much your job at your age, so of course you think of these things.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with you. You are 18 years old.

Your life is just starting. Wanting to be single at your age is a totally normal feeling. And there is nothing wrong with breaking up with your BF if that is what you want. You don’t have to stay with him just because he makes you happy, or he is a nice guy. Both of those things can be true, but it doesn’t mean you need to stay if you don’t want to.
