The faster you leave this relationship that faster you’ll heal and be better. Staying in this only degrades your self worth. It will suck at first, the break up, but it’ll suck even more to stay.

Time to break up. You won't be able to trust her anymore and she is just going to give you the trickle truth at this point. She shouldn't be "embarrassed" but should be ashamed for lying to you and did basically cheat on you by sending the nudes.

She needs therapy it sounds like and you aren't going to be the one who changes her.

Its not anything you have control over. Its pretty plain that your acquaintance is not emotionally available and uses a variety of individuals to avoid becoming authenticly invested in any particular person. Not somebody you want to have anything to do with as this dynamic often escalates to a "lets you and him fight" scenerio (see: Eric Berne). Screw that.

I had the same thing happening to me in my previous relationship. I tried to make it work but I kept finding more lies over time. The excuses “I didn’t want to hurt you” or “I didn’t want you to see me as a bad person” were used several times. Leave….. it took me year to get over her and, man, I felt bad. But I’m in a new loving relationship now and I am so less stressed now. My ex will never change and always require more attention and validation than one guy can give….. you need to think really hard if you are not in the same situation as I was.

As a woman, I do not trust women who do not have any female friends. There is always a clear reason why. I am not talking about the woman who has 1-2 *good* girl friends and most of the time she's a guy's girl where her interests and hobbies have brought natural male friendships. No, I am referring to the gal who constantly talks about how "girls are dRaMA!!" or "I just DoN'T gEt aLonG wiTh oThEr girLs! TheY'Re jeaLOuS oF mE!!!@!" Or the one who gravitates only to male companionship because they crave the validation for whatever reason. Staying in touch platonically with a long term ex is different than staying in touch with every guy you've sent nudes to and hooked up with. Red flags everywhere here, my dude.
