I’m genuinely sorry for you. I’m surprised the courts didn’t grant 50/50 custody.

It’s unfortunate that you’re spending more and more money on a kid that you barely see. It seems like you’ve tried your best for a decade

What comes with signing your rights away?

This is not right and our judicial system is so behind and unfair. She’s using your child as a weapon- that’s not okay and bad parenting on her behalf. I don’t understand I really don’t. Im very sorry you are going through this.

That’s awful you need to be documenting everything. There’s got to be a way for you to get justice in this scenario and I would suggest checking in the legal advice or attorney sub Reddit for direction on how you should go about this since you’ve done it so many times to no avail something isn’t right not with you with the judicial system there. I know you’re just over it and I get that I truly do but don’t forget about that child and that’s who you’re fighting for because they have no way to fight or know that what’s happening isn’t the way she says it is. I wish you the very best and I hope that you eventually get to have custody of your child.

So what's your relationship with your son like? What do you do when he's over for the weekend? What's his relationship like with your wife? What reason did the courts give for not enforcing 50-50 custody?

Hey, first of all. I am really sorry for you. You obviously want to be in your child's life which is a great thing. If you seriously consider killing yourself, please call the suicide hotline or talk to someone (your wife?) about this. If you want to move states to get away from the drama that is fine as well. I know this situation sucks and sadly, going to court will not change anything. However, I would encourage you to stay in your child's life. If his mother does not educate him, maybe you can teach him how to not be racist and stuff like that.

Also, he is a kid right now, so he might grow up to actually appreciate the two nights he got to spend at yours every week, since you seem like you sincerely care about him.
