No bc what would we have in common to talk about? Maybe if they were younger cousins or a friend’s younger sister but I don’t think I’d be like close friends with them

You know what? I was about to say no. Then I thought about it and realised that when I was in my early 20s I was a super active member of a Buffy forum and had friends as young as 14, and now - 20 years later - they're still some of my close friends, I attended their weddings etc.
So apparently yes, given the right context. The group also had lots of people my own age and all the way to to significantly older (again, who I'm still friends with).
It's fine to hang out with people younger(even minors) than u unless it's sexual(then all hell breaks loose).
I mean I am friends with people as young as 13-15 year old because we talk about anime and games. And I am 30 years old. It's fine as long as it doesn't take the sexual route and u delve in paedophilia.
