Old message found on phone

Right so…

My partner who I’m now engaged to used to speak to a girl whilst we were talking and going on dates etc. He blocked her when we got together officially.

I found an old message on his phone which was dated before us when we first got together (about a month in) There wasn’t any recent messages on it and he said he must’ve missed that one and then proceeded to block her on there and he also deleted TikTok as well (I didn’t ask him to - he just did)

There’s been nothing since and no sign of any contact.

Shall I trust that and forget about it?

It's an old messaged from when they used to talk and they haven't spoken since. I wouldn't worry about it.

He went above and beyond to reassure you over something that (in my mind) was a non-issue. He had a couple of texts with someone before you guys got serious? Come on, OP. He had a life before you.

Tbh I wouldn’t trust you OP. You going through his phone and worrying about a message from before y’all were together? My ex did that kinda thing to me, absolutely ruined us. And my trust. He stopped talking to her. But I’m still wondering what implored you to snoop?
