You need to leave this man op. Don't do couples counseling. Do counseling for yourself.

If you have any self-respect then you will divorce him ASAP

Don’t let your husbands poor behaviour define you . You are strong and beautiful and you have just created new life . Difficult as it may be you and your child deserve so much better .

This has absolutely nothing to do with you. He cheated or at least tried to, that’s on him. He couldn’t handle being faithful, he couldn’t handle his own desires, he couldn’t handle himself. That’s not on you. This is a reflection of him and who he is. You deserve better and there is better out there

What he's doing is not your responsibility and that aso should not provoke you to question your confidence. I'm really sorry that happened to you, but it's his doing, it has nothing to do with you. I think you should talk to him and see the reason behind and definitely tell him how you felt when reading about it.
