fwb ended things because he can't handle the idea of me having other love interests... which i don't because i'm in love with him.. but i didn't think he had feelings for me up until his confession. the thing is.. we are still really connected as friends.. how should i move forward?

Well if he won’t commit and won’t stay FWB then not sure what else there is to do but move on. Seems like he is not giving you any other option based on that.
