1 19(M) and my 19(F) long distance girlfriend of 1.5 years have recently come up with plans to move in together, they started because of her situation at home, problems with her family etc.. I live with my brother and enjoy living there he doesn't make me pay any bills at least until I graduate university. I do little side gigs but I make no where near as much money I need to afford an apartment. I told my girlfriend the only way would be changing to school part time and working full time. I agreed to it but now I am having second thoughts. really want to just finish school because know I can get a good career out of it. I don't want to be set back and have to take longer or work some BS job like fast food. She doesn't plan on going to school so she'd just work wherever. This is a very big commitment I don't know if I'm ready to make it'd be my name on the lease since my credit is pretty good so I'd have that responsibility as well as school. She has given me the ultimatum that if we don't move in together she can no longer be with me

There's no harm in waiting. You're not putting it off completely, just until you have your life together a bit more. There's no rush.

You simply recieved the red flag from her. If your partner doesn't wish and want the best for you and your future then that ain't a good partner and your gf seems selfish and only thinks of herself and her problems.

Focus on your career and your future, trust me it's not worth it to turn your life upside down for one person, especially that you are doing great now and have the advantage of focusing on your study without any distractions.

You have a good brother really man.
