My (28F) bf(28M), is misogynistic in certain ways but he claims he is not.
This manifests itself a lot on the road. He almost never lets me drive even though I want to and keeps pointing out mistakes done by women on the road, and argues with me when I point out the times where they are not actually in the wrong.
I got into a minor accident a while ago to avoid a potentially serious head on collision with someone overtaking and to this day he brings it up and makes fun of me for it.
He has a beater truck he uses as a second vehicle, and I feel like he actively tries to hit women drivers when they are slightly in the wrong (creeping into a lane slightly etc). He has actually hit 3 cars this way while I was with him and all were young women drivers and considered to be not his fault and one other woman while I was not with him.
I saw his search history ones and he searches things like "woman driver crash" on youtube. He also watches a lot of videos with women failing at things.
The final straw was this weekend. There is a shared parking lot in my townhouse where I keep my car. We were supposed to go out with my car with me driving for once and as I left my parking spot, I scratched the side of my car on a boulder that was placed very close to my car. He seemed amused. There should not have been a boulder there and I did not know how it got there since it was not there when I parked. He lectured me about needed to be aware of surroundings.
I later got surveillance footage from my neighbor and he had placed the boulder before visiting me!
I brought up all these things with him and called him a misogynist. He said that was not true and that he does not believe women are bad drivers and is a feminist and all he admitted to was that he has a finds amusement from women in vulnerable situations and said it is a fantasy he cannot control. He denied getting into those accidents intentionally and says it is a coincidence.
