Tomorrow is Mardi Gras, and I always love to celebrate with King Cake! Does anyone know of any bakeries that sell it? Jean-Jacques in Carytown used to, but I think they’ve shut down.

Ukrops makes them, but it looks like they’re sold out online, and I think the Market Hall is closed Mondays.
But you may have some luck at a Kroger or Publix finding one?

When I worked at Montana Gold we used to make them every year and I think they still do. Best to call today if you want one tomorrow. They probably will have a few extras but mostly just prep what was ordered.
And yeah Jean-Jacques closed after the unfortunate passing of the owners.

I picked one up at Great Harvest Bread Co. in Midlo on Friday and it was pretty delish. Looks like you can still order them online for same-day pick-up.

I purchased one at Kroger on W Broad besides Sams Club for about $12 on Friday and ordered one from Pearls Bakery for almost $50 and they had a few left in the case when I was there an hour ago

They used to put the plastic baby in the cake. That was the entire fricking point. But some asshole somewhere sued over swallowing the baby - that EVERYONE knew was in there, mind you - and now we can't have nice things.
