It's being remodeled. ETA for reopening is June, according to the posters they had up a couple weeks ago

I recall when it was built it was pretty nice. But that was in comparison to some of the real old layout locations in Atlee and Ashland (which have also been totally rebuilt)

i thought it was really comfy and nice :( last large convenience store ive been in with that sort of floorplan was a QT in spartanburg like 8 years ago so it was kinda nostalgic

When my power was out for two weeks because of that ice storm we had two years ago, I basically lived in that sheets using the wifi lol

It’s not simply being remodeled according the county’s plans in Accela. The entire site is being demoed and removed— building, canopy, tanks, and asphalt. A new Sheetz is being built with the pumps to the side of the lot instead of the front, and with the building offset to allow for a drive thru. Everything you see in the photo is headed to the landfill so Sheetz can get a DRIVE THRU. Most wasteful thing I’ve heard this week.
