I am starting a new Pokemon League at Unplugged. The first meeting will be next Monday, March 6th and we will be meeting every Monday after. League will run from 6-9pm. Entry will be $6 and comes with a pack of the newest Pokemon expansion Silver Tempest.

Pokemon league is a weekly gathering where players and collectors of all skill levels can come compete against one another or trade cards. There are some beginner decks that the store has but please bring your own deck if you have it. I can help teach new players how to play or help facilitate deck construction.

I am super excited to announce that, for our first week, we will have u/mewisme700 and her Pikabug there as well as some other items from her collection! Excited to start a new League! Hope to see plenty of people there.

Is this something that would be appropriate for/welcoming of my 10 year old? I feel like he’d be really into it, but I don’t want to bring him if it’s more oriented towards older people.

The store has the right to charge for league if they want to. They usually charge for a game pass for $6. The entrance fee comes with a pack. We may change this going forward but the $6 is the weekly fee moving forward.
