So my kid is super into Pokemon Go right now, and I was wondering if any folks on here know of any spots with lots of activity?

(You can message me direct on here if you dont want to share it publicly. Just trying to keep my kid stoked on it!)

I’ve heard Hollywood Cemetery is THE spot. But basically anywhere in the city is gonna have a bunch of everything you need to make the game fun.

The Capitol Square and vicinity are excellent. My partner and I will just walk around the path there.

Hollywood Cemetery is great. Tons of stops there. Carytown has a ton as well, but not quite as relaxing of a walk, plus you have to worry about running into people on a busy day. So I tend to prefer parks. I live close to Three Lakes Park so that’s my go-to, but there’s several parks out in Mechanicsville I like to hit whenever I’m around there. Pole Green Park and Richmond Battlefield Park. There’s tons of great spots though, they’re in no short supply.

Scott’s Addition is a great area to ride through. To walk I like leaving from Rocketts and heading to the Canal Walk. Deep Run Park is great too, with the bonus of playgrounds.

Down in Chesterfield Harry G Daniel park is really good too for stops and gyms, shorter trails than deep run and more level ground if you have a bad back and knees like me.

Maymont has a ton of stops and badges, also lots of Pokemon to catch. I was there yesterday.

MILF island for sure, you’ll catch lots there. Locker Room is a great place to battle your Pokémon

I like goin' through the hilltop parks - especially Chimborazo and Libby's, or the Rockett's/Shiplock/Canal walkway stretch. Lots of pokestops and gyms!
