I came here because I also have a blind neighbor, and yesterday she scared the shit out off me, she walk to my door and bang it loud. She needed help with her toasted oven. I went over and their was nothing to put in their she had no food. I recently meet her and she told me their a lady that helps her with groceries idk sometimes it be 3 days and I don’t see no food delivery. I try to help but she tells me she don’t need a care giver. She just wants to sit and talk because she’s lonely

Yes. They seem very similar. I know she doesn't love the idea of someone new in her home, but she desperately needs some support before the whole house is condemned or worse.. There are also some safety issues, things like no hot water or her shower not working that im concerned with- so im hoping she will trust me enough to let us get her some help. Good luck to you too! Not sure what side of town you are- but you can call senior connections to see about help. They provide in home care, connect you to meals on wheels, and help with so much more.
