I am moving to the area soon and was wondering if y'all could recommend a fence company. My yard is around 1 acre. Also if anyone has had a fence recently done could you share the cost?

Good Neighbor Fence Company out of Mechanicsville did a half acre for me and quoted $2500 less than the other three estimates I had done.

Hurricane did a great job for me last year and their price was about 20% lower than the other companies I got quotes from. Highly recommended.

We just moved into a new house on a couple acres in r/Hanover. After getting numerous quotes, we went with Fencescapes.

I'll second Rowe fencing. Took down an old chain link fence and put up a new wooden one in two days, and were significantly cheaper than three 2 or 3 other companies that we got quotes from.

I’ve been researching coated chainlink fences with slats or screens. They seem to be the most cost effective solution, and can look nice.
