Solid breakfast, rest of the food is decent at a fair price, though I haven't been there since pre-COVID.

That said, the owner's wife is there at like 4 AM daily to make fresh baklava and they serve it hot with cinnamon ice cream. That alone is worth going for.

TIL that baklava and cinnamon ice cream is a breakfast. I like this knowledge, but it's pre gorging season and I don't need to know this now...

Basic not bad food, but nothing special. So over crowded that it isn't worth going to.

I have never had to wait for a table? Which location is overcrowded?

We went to the one on Midlothian Turnpike a few years back. It was packed to the gills.

Nice! Simple diner that cares about doing things well. We love them for breakfast and burgers but plenty of good options. They're always hopping but still manage to provide good service.

Did y’all peep that dinner menu? It’s massive!

That's a lot for a kitchen that size to make.

Not me liking Cheesecake Factory and their novel of a menu selection 🫣

Lots of frozen prepared food from Sysco, I imagine.

I'd love to see sysco's 'menu' and compare their dishes to what I get at several local places. I think my favorite chicken parm is fake!

We’ve gone a few times since moving out this ways. Not a bad no fuss brunch location. Glad to see they are expanding, just unfortunate we lost Kitchen 64 in the process.

Brick House: mostly fried fare and always packed with old people

It can be hit or miss, some of the dishes are pretty good but others just seemed doused in salt. All of the staff is friendly and kind. RVA needs more diners. Yes; yes to many old people.

Such a shame about Kitchen 64. A great place that always seemed busy when I was there. I’ve only done Brick House for breakfast but it’s been pretty good

I’m ok with it. Their fries are delicious and they have a great Buffalo chicken wrap.

It’s a miniature version of Cracker Barrel with simple decor.

Same food, same patrons, same wait.

Looking at their menu they at least have a spinny gyro/kebab so I'm in

You make it sound like an Applebee's is moving in. They have 3 locations.
