Is Monroe Park pesticide-free?

Basically what the title says. I really enjoy building terrariums, and Monroe Park is a walkable distance and it is full of supplies I could use. I’m just hesitant to collect any leaf litter or seed pods in case there is a pesticide used that could harm my animals. So, by off chance, does anyone happen to know?

And I would add that this applies to any part of the city that is easily accessible or visible from a street. And they use some hardcore poison. They sprayed all the cracks in a sidewalk near my house this spring and everything is still dead at and crispy. Like no signs of any weeds coming back almost six months later.

Assume everything in the city is contaminated with a mixture of feces, pesticides, heavy metals, and mystery fun chemicals that make God fear what he hath wrought. Try some of the less disturbed parklands around here, the James River Park System is very sparing with chemicals and Southside has lots of native plants remaining, at least relatively speaking. The suburban parks should be great places to go walk around a hunt for stuff as well.
