Hi all! I am trying to get my car tinted and wanted to know who you would recommend/who did good work for you. There’s not a lot within the past year on here in terms of recommendations. Thank you and have a great Friday!
Got my windows tinted from these guys years ago. Has held up well.
Can someone comment on a ballpark cost to get windows tinted on an average car? I see a huge range online, but not sure why the range is so broad.
Carrizma on Jeff Davis in Chester has done all my family’s stuff since 2015 and most recently 2 cars in the past year. Ceramic, UV, Mirrored, etc. Fair prices and quality work done within a day.
From what I know they base it off your vehicle size, I called for a quote and it was 225 starting for a civic

As an update to my own question, I emailed Black Optix about my specific vehicle (minivan with existing tint on five largish windows), and they estimated an 'entry level price' of $750 to remove and replace with darker tint.
I'm not saying that's an unreasonable price, but it's probably more than I'm willing to spend on it at the moment.

Yeah, the removal and the amount of glass push the price up a lot, I guess.
Sorry, but I have to say: don’t use these guys. They did a terrible on my car. First try looked horrible. Took it back to redo a second time and they tore off half my rear defrost in the process…and it still looks like hot garbage.

Seconding black optix, used them for my Outback, good experience.
Will be taking my WRX to them sometime to redo the years old peeling tint (originally tinted elsewhere).
