Traps are about 40 bucks. I had a ton of success using just regular peanuts like you'd get at a baseball game as bait. Relocate the squirrels, repeat.

Virginia Conservation police. Your chance of getting caught is pretty low, but it's stil illegal.

they will. They are much more likely to be enforced against.
