I believe even if all of the signs "have fallen off" on the entirety of the block in question the tow is still legit.

Was there a period with an unusual lacking of parked cars on your street today? If so it's possible there was street cleaning. There's also a resource somewhere on the city website with a schedule or at least there was last year.

If your car is newer and has a spoofable key fob that you keep near your front door—my neighbor had that experience a few nights ago. How bizarre.

Call RPD. If it got towed for cleaning they will have your license plate info on file.

my car got towed too. not a single sign in site. i tried to fight with richmond about it, but they told me i was in the wrong. it was really frustrating because i was the only car on the block that got towed. i’m sorry this happened to you.

i did. if it’s sieberts, i’d really bug them about your car. the reviews are filled with people who had the issues of not being told the place had their cars, stuff being stolen, etc.

it was towed. parked it in a completely different spot this weekend that i always park it in during the weekend, not realizing richmond apparently changed its weekend parking rules, and walked out this morning to find it got fucking towed again! so i’m having an incredible week lol

also the towing companies fucking suck here and will tell you they don’t have your car when they do. so that’s a cool extra step to deal with.
