Anyone know someone in the area that does shoe repair? I have a pair of boots I love, but the bottoms are very much done.

Edit - Dang, you guys rock! Thank you for all the recommendations. I really don't want to throw out these boots because of how comfy they are, and now it seems like I won't have to!

Always have had good experience with them. They do tailoring also.

+1 here for the alterations lady, she’s been serving our family well here since the 90s.

Go see Norvelle in Southside Plaza. He used to be on Brookland Park Blvd. Great guy, great prices, great work.

Second this. He took care of mine and a buddy’s boots. Got them looking right for a reasonable price. Nice guy too.

Yes! Patterson ave by tiki tiki. I can’t remember what it’s called…. They’re open like 9-4 m-f but did great work on a pair of my shoes!

there are a ton of shoe repair shops around. How far do you want to drive?

I've personally used Village Shoe Repair over by Patterson and Three Chopt, just past UR. Had them repair soles on several different pairs of boots.

I've also used Best Shoe Repair over on Broad in the same shopping center as Wawa and Harbor Freight. I took an old pair of steel toe boots to repair once back in 2017 or 2018 because they were recommended by my employer at the time.
