Hi all, I’m pretty new to the area and was hoping you all had some thoughts on reliable, well priced mechanics. I’m more than happy to drive a ways outside the city if there’s a gem somewhere a bit farther away. It’s a 2009 ford escape
Thank you!

2009 ford escape, needs bit of engine diagnostics and work
Halls at glenside and broad, Vondelehr
Amazing, that’s really close to me
Love it, I’ll check them out, thanks!
That's the other appeal, I dropped off my car and walked home

I work on all my cars so I rarely go to the mechanic. It’s been years, but after Dunkums gave a coworker a questionable list of repairs and asked me for advice, she took it to halls next door and they told her the exact same thing I said.
Second Fritz. Bought a used jeep recently and went to them for inspection. Had some minor work done fast and affordability. Asked them to change the oil while they were at it. They checked it out and it had a brand new oil filter and oil. Most mechanics would have charged me and done unececary work. There is something to be said for an honest mechanic shop. I will be going there with all my vehicles in the future.
I use Williams Tire and Auto on Cowardin near Semmes.
While I live in lakeside, i work in Manchester. Drop the car off hop a bike to work, ride back to pick up. Been doing this for 20 years, and they've always done good work and a fair price for me.
I feel like this question gets asked once a month
Axselle and Sixty Service
60 service off midlothian tpke. Dude is solid and reasonable
Paradise Garage in the fan is my go-to. Low prices, fast service and the owner is super nice.
Friday.
My dad freaking swears by Broad St Auto. They've pulled some magic for him and my brother over the years for fair price lol
Eh, with local or smaller shops getting bought up it's a fair question to ask on some regular basis. Monthly recs aren't bad here.
What local or smaller shop has been bought up in the last month?
