Good news! Last month, our neutered boy cat was blocked and we couldn’t get in to any emergency vet in the Richmond area. They were all at capacity. Fredericksburg would’ve been an option but they were closing in 30 minutes, so we drove up to Charlottesville and luckily we were able to be seen there. Our cat is fine now, but it definitely made me nervous if a more dire situation were to occur (I know blockages are bad, but we had some time to spare at least).
