Any interest in these cards? I'd prefer to sell all/most of it as a lot as I don't have the patience to sell separate lots. No idea how they would rate on conditions. Many of them have been part of decks so I doubt they would rate super high. Even the ones that weren't played have been stored and moved several times over the past 20ish years. I've also got several hundred (maybe thousand?) Japanese cards from the same era, but I haven't gone through them. I also have most of the Gameboy games (Red/Blue, Gold (maybe silver), TCG and Pinball) but I am not sure if I could part with them.. Are people actually interested in them?

I haven't been into it in more than 20 years and I don't have the slightest idea what Pokemon cards go for nowadays so I couldn't begin to determine a price for the lot. Obviously I would want more than I could get by just selling it to a card shop, but I am perfectly willing to make a deal cheaper than what I would get selling them singularly simply because of the size of the lot.
I actually have no idea, I got into it recently and I wasn’t around for the original set. Usually I use PriceCharting as a point of reference for this sort of thing. Maybe the best way would be to take it to a card shop and see what they offer, then I can rebut with a better offer? We can also just meet up and price them then and there since there are apps that can scan cards and pull their value.
I've looked into those apps before, it just took forever because of the sheer number. Taking it to a card shop for an estimate is a really good idea.. No telling when I'll be able to do that but I will keep that in mind.

If you can’t take it to a shop, my suggestion would be to use the tcgplayer website (rather than the app) to price out the most expensive cards to give you a ballpark. Since you already have your stuff in a spreadsheet it shouldn’t be too difficult. On the full site you can pull up each set individually and then just sort by price high to low and figure out which cards are above whatever threshold you want to set, then not worry about the cheaper stuff so that you have fewer cards to price out. Idk how much sense that made, so if you have any questions feel free to ask. I haven’t done it with Pokémon, but it is how I’ve sorted through a couple ~15k card bulk magic the gathering lots
That's a good idea and makes a lot of sense. I tend to be overly focused on doing things "completely" to the point that it becomes a big hassle that I never have time for. If I just price the stuff worth above like $5 and estimate the rest it would go a lot quicker.
The Japanese stuff is tougher, though, because I am not entirely certain which card is which. I figure all that will just be bundled and priced arbitrarily. Not even sure if people in the US are interested in the Japanese ones anymore.. They were more useful 20 years ago when Japan was several sets ahead of the US.

Hey! I've been meaning to sell this FitDesk 2.0 desk bike and never got around to it. Glad I peeped your comment. I've had this for a few years now and I got some decent mileage out of it during the COVID-19 Lockdowns. Haha, same here! I mostly collect cooking and pocket knives, but after helping my mom with some painting she told me she found it in some old boxes her dad left her when he died and she gave it to me also not knowing what it was. I thought it was some cheap, whatever knife until I looked it up. I could probably find a better price elsewhere, but I'd rather someone who actually wants it for its history gets it first.
Yeah, much better that someone that cares about it gets that little piece of history. I couldn't justify spending that much for a collector piece or I would be all over it. I have a knife collection, but I collect knives the same way I collect coins, which is to naturally come across something cool and add it to the collection. The only knives I have ever bought are my pocket knife, my skinning knife and my kitchen knives and that is only because they all get used and abused and I would never subject my collection knives to that.
Definitely. For your definition of collecting, I do that for playing cards. I always get two decks of the same design, one to put in a sleeve, and one to actually use and enjoy.

Houseplants in 6" plastic terra cotta-colored pots. Ready to be transplanted to an even bigger pot if you're feeling it. No idea what particular variety; years ago one of my kids' friends gave me a little spider plant they were in the process of killing and now I have these beasts which are propagating all over my living room.
All I've done is water them every week or two, give them some Miracle Grow when I remember, and keep them in a window with a western exposure, and they grow and sprout babies like mad.

Want to borrow a hammock: does anyone around Richmond have a hammock that is good for sleeping that I could borrow to test out? At least a few days would be cool, a couple weeks even better.
I got a hammock stand, a Kammock Swiftlet and thought afterwards that I might could sleep in it to help my increasingly painful lower back. A lot of reviewers commented that it's low spread distance compared to other stands makes it hard to sleep in, especially if you're taller. I'm not tall, but I kind of feel like my Eno SingleNest makes it hard to get a good diagonal. I could be wrong, I've only ever taken a few naps in hammocks before. Just wanted to try another hammock before I buy one. I'm guessing a two person might be better or one longer than the Eno I have, since it'd be wider in the middle?

This is a demo unit that we didn't end up needing. It's been taken out of the box and factory reset with no other use. The only difference between this and a brand new one is no shrink wrap and maybe a stray fingerprint or two.

My invoice is dated Nov 10. When I look up the serial number online from another device, it says it's not eligible for AppleCare. However, when I go through the AppleCare purchase process on the MacBook itself, it appears it's eligible. I don't know for sure, as I didn't complete the process.
I'll pass for now since Apple has this for $1049 new.
