I know you asked for Carytown, but if you're willing to come down to the forest hill farmer's market on a Sunday morning there are usually some very nice candle vendors.

Mongrel has a good selection! They’re very beautiful but pretty expensive.

I really like the goods available at Mimi's Apothecary. P.F. Candle Co's teakwood and tobacco is my go to, but they do also carry local brands.

My sister-in-law just moved to Richmond and has a candle business. I'm not a candle person, but I have three of them and they're all great. You can buy online or catch her at markets around the city.

Mehmet sells really good smelling candles at Cool Colors. They aren't seasonal per se but we still are burning one from 4 years ago so they last a long time.

It's Carytown, just walk down the street a see for yourself. It would actually take less time than waiting for Reddit to reply.

Because I am willing to just go and experience shit and don't need to poll strangers just to buy fucking candles?

Because you are shitting on an opportunity for people to shout out local businesses. And because this is a community forum and sometimes it’s nice just to ~talk~ with people in your community who like similar things.
