The Waze app shows the road closures and can navigate you to your destination.

Dude you’re the MVP. I’ve never used Waze but this took me a way to my apartment I didn’t know about in the 2 years I’ve lived here lol

fun fact; that path doesn't usually exist, the waze app functions by exploiting temporary inter-dimensional shifts to create a path around blocked roads

I feel like I should only use Waze in emergencies then…don’t wanna fuck up the universe

I had to use it this morning too and I was surprised at how accurate it was with the road closures. I tend to use Waze more than Google maps.

I use the waze British gent voice for no other reason than he sends me traveling on the "PO-FI-TAY" Parkway (Powhite).

Has Waze gotten any better about saying to turn a little sooner? I was using it a couple years ago but stopped because it would always tell me to turn so late that it made it dangerous

I’ve always used Apple Maps because it tells me which lane to be in and what not

I don't use the voice features for waze (I use a windshield mount for my phone so the map is in my line of sight while driving). But they do have lane indicators now for turns, and I've never had an issue with the visual prompts for turns showing up too late
