I didn’t even realize there’s a difference. I will definitely be looking for a plastic surgeon to reduce scarring. Thank you so much for your input

No problem at all! In general, plastic surgery is only known to most for cosmetics; there's an entire world of things they do on top of that!

The other individual who suggested a Moh's procedure isn't a bad idea either. Might be worth a call or asking whoever you go to for their opinion. Place a lot of emphasis on the fact that you want as minimal scarring as possible!
